A Father’s Day Note

These words have been on a poster at my home for as long as I remember. Whenever I used to read it in childhood, my mind would think, how come the makers of this poster know my Papa so well. How come each and every line matches my Papa perfectly.

When I grew up, I began to understand that it was not just my Papa. It was for all the Dads in the world.

Because Dads are exactly like this.

They love in silence. They sacrifice in silence. They devote their entire self to give a safe and joyful life to their family. Their every need is just fulfilled by their family’s happiness.

Moms are the epitome of love and nurturing.

At the same time, Dads are the epitome of support and strength.

Moms are the Homes we want to go to.

And Dads, are the Roof of those homes.

Wishing all the Dads out there a very Happy Father’s Day. You fill your child’s world with a sense of safety and the brightest of smiles.

And as for you Papa, to say that I Miss You Everyday is still an understatement.

Because I Miss You with every beat of my heart.

Waking up each day and trying to live a life that would make you proud.
